We are a small stud located at the foot of the beautiful Malvern Hills near
Upton-Upon-Severn in Worcestershire.
We specialise in breeding, breaking and producing miniature horses for driving. Our aim is to produce these little horses
so they are fun to have around, safe and fully trained to drive both for pleasure and in competition.

 
We select our horses for their temperaments, conformation
and size. This selection includes the choice of stallions
used to breed to our mares. The history of sire and dam
is of the utmost importance in order to produce offspring
with the appropriate temperament and conformation.

We pride ourselves on way we handle our little friends.
All our miniatures are regularly handled and crawled over
by our lovely grandchildren and this happens from a
very early age for the minis so they get used to
boisterous children. We find this helps enormously
in their education to become 'bomb proof' driving
horses - as you can see from the photograph on the right.

We have a variety of driving miniatures here at Scovell and
we are active in all sorts of ways in the driving world.
We enjoying showing, but given our other commitments,
do not show extensively. We also carry out charity work.
